2014 Participant & Spectator Guide

Everything you need to know in order to make your 2014 MudRun event day a success can be found by downloading and reading the 2014 Participant & Spectator Guide.

The Adult Mud Run starting line coral process

The first coral will open at 11:40 AM and the first 200 participants will be allowed in. This coral will start the run at Noon. The next coral will accept the next 200 participants and they will start the run approximately 20 minutes later. The race director will continue to launch corals every 20 minutes or as soon as the course is ready to accept additional runners. It is important to remember, if you want to start early, arrive early. If you want to run as a group be sure to have your entire group in the same coral. You will have plenty of time to enjoy the course. The last wave will launch at 3:00 PM. Your safety is our primary concern and you may experience a delay if the course becomes overcrowded or unsafe.

BBQ opens at Noon

For those who wish to have a snack prior to running, peanut butter and jelly, fruit and water will be available. We suggest that you have your BBQ meal after you run.

Transfers and Refunds

The Barbara Cook Cancer Foundation does not allow participant refunds or transfers at any time for any reason. If you are unable to participate your registration will be converted into a donation to fight cancer.

A category for everyone

The Mud Run

Looking to just come out and get muddy without worrying about finishing first? This is the category for you. Sign up as an individual mud runner, or create a team as large or as small as you wish. Everyone is invited to join in the fun and kick cancer in the mud! Register right away, the longer you wait the higher the price. A payment schedule is at the top of the page.

Kids Mud Run

It wouldn't be fair for all of us adults to spend the day playing likekids and not let the kids in on the fun! This shortened course for kids 5-10 proves one thing for sure: Kids love getting muddy! $30 per child and itincludes a cotton t-shirt and the BBQ. (10 year olds may opt to to the adult mud run with a paid adult).

You don't have to get muddy to help us fight cancer. For those that want to participate in the event and stay clean, the BBQ option is for you. You can purchase a ticket and enjoy all the festivities without the mud for $25! Included with all Mud Run Categories. Free for kids 12 and under.

Memorial Wall

Replacing the candlelight walk was not an easy decision, but we want everyone to have the opportunity to pay tribute to the people in their lives that have waged war with cancer and we thought this would be a great way to do it. Adopted from the LiveStrong Memorial Wall you will have the opportunity to fill out a card honoring or memorializing a friend or loved one affected by cancer. You can even note your own battle.
